The Deputy Director General of the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development Mr. Hisham Ibrahim Al Waqayan said during the press conference held at Embassy Premises with presence of HE The Ambassador Yaqoub Yousuf Alateeqi.
Mr. Waqayan said that the loan provided for financing the South Eastern University Phase 1 “B” is evidence of the long lasting relationship between the two countries. He also promises to continue to support Sri Lanka. Mr. Hisham Al Waqayan added that the Kuwait Fund has carried out several projects in Sri lanka such as Bridges, Highways and support to Moragolla Hydropower Project.
Finally, he answered all the questions raised by the Journalists regarding the work carried out by Kuwait Fund in Sri Lanka.
