H.E . Khalaf Bu DhhairThe Ambassador of the State of Kuwait in Sri Lanka opened the new Mosque in Keyodhoo island – Republic of Maldiveson 6/11/2015 . It was built by a Well wisher in Kuwait.
The Minister of Islamic Affairs of the Republic of Maldives Dr. Ahamed Ziyad graced the occasion. Also participated in this occasion were Assistance Under Secretary of Ministry of Awqaf in Kuwait Mr.Waleed Al Shaab , Prsident of Legitimate Committee of Zakat House Dr. Khalid Al Otaibi The Director of Department of Mosques for Farwania Province Eng. Bader Al Otaibi , Religious advisor for Mibratul Bir Welfare Association Mr. Eisa Bin Eisa .General Director of Aaliya Co Mr.Ala, Executive Directoe of Ala Co. Mr. Ahamed Hussain and Imam of the Central Mosque of Maldives Alsheikh Mohamed Lateef.
Mr. Bader Alforaih , Third Secretary of the Embassy and Mr. Saad Alansari Head of Consular Division of the Embassy also accompanied H.E . The Ambassador .
