HE The Ambassador attended the Convocation Ceremony of Jamiah Siddeqiyas Students which was held in Kattankudi , 320 Km away from the capitol Colombo. 73 Female Graduates passed out this year including seven Female Quran Memmorators. HE The Ambassadoe received warm welcome from Jamiah Siddeqiya Management Committee Chairman Mr. Mohamed Mohideen who expressed in his welcome speech his gratitude to HE The Ambassador for visiting Jamiah despite a heavy schedule and diplomatic works.
He further said that the people of Kattankudi will never forget the assistance of Kuwait People rendered to them during the Tsunami and construction of Kuwait Housing Units in Kattankudi for those effected by Tsunami.
HE The Ambassador praised the efforts of the Jamiah Siddeqa in spreading Islam. Also HE explained in his speech about the role of Kuwait in providing assistance to Muslims around the world especially to the Muslims of srilanka in various fields such as education and culture. HE Distributed the certificates to the Graduates and received the Memorial shield from the President of Jamiah Aysha Siddeqa.
