HE Khalaf Bu Dhhair The Ambassador held a friendly discussion with Hon. Minister of post , postal services and Islamic affairs Mr.M.H.A.Haleem accompanied by As Sheikh Yousuf Mufti chairman Zam Zam Foundation, Vice President of All Ceylon Jammiyatul Ulama at the Embassy premises on 20/03/2018. During this meeting , both parties discussed various issues especially the situation of Muslims in Sri Lanka.

The Minister praised the support provide by the Kuwait Government to the people of Sri Lanka in the various fields especially the efforts made by HE The Ambassador to promote relations between the two countries.
H.E. The Ambassador expressed his willingness of the State of Kuwait to provide further assistance to Sri lalanka.

إستقبل سعادة السفير/ خلف بو ظهير يوم الثلاثاء الموافق 20/3/2018 بمقر السفارة معالي وزير البريد والشئون الإسلامية في جمهورية سريلانكا السيد/ عبد الحليم حيث كان يرافق معه الشيخ/ يوسف مفتي رئيس جمعية زمزم الخيرية ونائب رئيس جمعية علماء سريلانكا وعدد من كبار المسئولين في وزارة الأوقاف

وجرى خلال المقابلة إستعراض العلاقات الثنائية بين البلدين وسبل تعزيزها وتنميتها في كافة المجالات وخاصة المجالات الدينية. وأشاد السيد/ عبد الحليم خلال المقابلة بالدعم الذي قدمته وما زالت تقدمه الكويت لجمهورية سريلانكا في مختلف المجالات وعبر الوزير عن تقديره للجهود التي يبذلها سعادة السفير/ خلف بو ظهير تجاه تعزيز العلاقات بين البلدين الصديقين.

ومن جانبه ، اوضح سعادة السفير إستعداد حكومة دولة الكويت لتقديم يد العون والمساعدة وكافة التسهيلات الممكنة للشعب السريلانكي .

HE The AmbassadorKhalaf Bu Dhhair received the visiting Kuwait delegation headed by Sheikh Salman Al-Humoud Al-Sabah President Civil Aviation of State of Kuwait at Embassy premises on 4/12/2017.

The delegation arrived Sri Lanka on 4/12/2017 to attend the 10th International Civil Aviation Organization Conference on Air Service Negotiation in Colombo during the period 4-8/12/2017.

إستقبل سعادة/ خلف بوظهير سفير دولة الكويت لدى جمهورية سريلانكا معالي الشيخ/ سلمان الحمود الصباح – رئيس الطيران المدني بمقر السفارة بتاريخ 4/12/2017 وذلك خلال ترأسه وفد دولة الكويت المشارك في أعمال مؤتمر الايكاو للمفاوضات بشأن الخدمات الجوية في العاصمة كولومبو.

H.E . Khalaf Bu Dhhair The Ambassador of the State of Kuwait in Sri Lanka hosted Kuwait National Day Reception on the evening of 22/2/2018 at Cinnamon Grand Hotel – Colombo on the occasion of the 57th National Day of the State of Kuwait , 27 th Anniversary of the liberation of Kuwait .

Participants at this occasion on behalf of the Government of Sri Lanka Hon. Rauf Hakeem Minister of Urban Development, Water Supply and Drainage Hon A H M Fowzie Minister of National Integration and Reconciliation.,Hon .Nimal Siripala De Silva Minister of Transport .Hon. Faizar Musthafa Minister of Local Government and Provincial Councils Hon. Rishard Badiuddin Minister of Commerce and Industry and Members of Parliament representing several Political Parties In addition to that foreign Diplomats in Sri Lanka . also attended The Business Community Media Personnel and several other high ranking officials representing Political, Economic and Religious Organizations.

أقام سعادة السفير خلف بوظهير حفل إستقبال بمناسبة الذكرى 75 للإستقلال والذكرى 27للتحرير بتاريخ 22/2/2016 بفندق سينامون جراند في كولومبو ، وقد شهد الحفل حضورا واسعا ومميزا حيث شارك عدد كبير من أهم الشخصيات السياسية أبرزهم وزير تخطيط المدن وإمدادات المياه وزعيم مؤتمر مسلمي سريلانكا رؤوف حكيم، ووزير النقل نمال سريبالا دي سلوا ، ووزير الإندماج الوطني محمد فوزي ، ووزير الحكم المحلي ومجالس الإقليمية فيسر مصطفى ووزير التجارة والصناعة السيد/ رشاد بديع الدين بالإضافة إلى عدد كبير من أعضاء البرلمان من كافة الأحزاب السياسية والعديد من أصحاب السعادة ورؤساء البعثات الدبلوماسية المعتمدة في كولومبو ورجال الأعمال والإعلاميين وممثلي الهيئات السياسية والإقتصادية والدينية.

HE The AmbassadorKhalaf Bu Dhhair declared open the New Premises for Al Badriya Maha Vidyalaya Kahatowita on 20/11/2017

Also present at the occasion were Ministers , Members of Parliament , Top Officials from the Government of Sri Lanka and The Staff of the School.

HE explained in his speech about the role of Kuwait in providing assistance to the people of Sri Lanka in various fields such as education and culture.

This new building was donated by Mr. Dhaary Adhil Al Janahi.

سعادة السفير يرعى حفل إفتتاح المبنى الجديد لمدرسة البدرية في منطقة كهاتووتاي

رعى سعادة السفير / خلف بو ظهير حفل إفتتاح المبنى الجديد للمدرسة البدرية الحكومية بتاريخ 20/11/2017 في منطقة كهاتوتا ، بحضور عدد من الوزراء وأعضاء البرلمان والشخصيات وكبار المسئولين في منطقة جامباها غرب البلاد. .

وألقى سعادة السفير كلمة أوضح فيها دور دولة الكويت في تقديم المساعدات للشعب السريلانكي في المجالين العلمي والثقافي.

وقد تم التبرع بهذا المبني الجديد من قبل السيد/ ضاري عادل الجناحي .

سعادة السفير يجري المحادثات مع السيد/ حزب الله وزير الدولة لإعادة التأهيل

إستقبل سعادة السفير / خلف بو ظهير بمعالي السيد/ محمد حزب الله وزير الدولة لإعادة التأهيل في مقر البعثة بتاريخ 22/11/2017 ، حيث بحث الجانبان عددا من القضايا وخاصة الأوضاع المسلمين في سريلانكا.

وأشاد السيد/ محمد حزب الله خلال اللقاء بالدعم الذي قدمته وما زالت تقدمه دولة الكويت لجمهورية سريلانكا في شتى المجالات .
