HE Khalaf Bu Dhhair, The Ambassador participated in the signing ceremony of the Trade Economic Cooperation Agreement between the Government of the State of Kuwait and the Government of the Republic of Maldives which took place in Maldives on 18/5/2016. The Commerce and Industry Minister Dr. Yusuf Al Ali signed on behalf of Kuwait while the Economic Development Minister Mr. Mohamed Saeed signed the Agreement on behalf of Maldives. Present at the ceremony was the Counselor of the Embassy, Mr. Hamoud Aljabri and other top officials from both countries

. شارك سعادة السفير / خلف بو ظهير في مراسم توقيع إتفاقية التعاون التجاري بين حكومة دولة الكويت وحكومة جمهورية المالديف والتي وقعت بجمهورية المالديف بتاريخ 18/5/2016. علما بأنه وقع على هذه الإتفاقية معالي وزير التجارة والصناعة د.يوسف العلي ومن الجانب المالديفي وقع عليها معالي وزير التنمية الإقتصادية السيد/ محمد سعيد. وحضر مراسم التوقيع المستشار بالسفارة السيد/ حمود الجبري وعدد من كبار المسئولين من كلا الجانبين.

HE Khalaf Bu Dhhair The Ambassador held a friendly discussion with the Member of Parliament Mr. Cader Masthan . at the Embassy premises on 15/05/2016. During this meeting , both parties discussed various issues especially the situation of Muslims in Sri Lanka.

إلتقى سعادة السفير / خلف بوظهير بمقر السفارة عضو البرلمان السيد قادر مستان بتاريخ 15/5/2016 ، وعقد سعادة السفير لقاء أخوى مع السيد/ قادر مستان وبحث الجانبان عددا من القضايا وخاصة الأوضاع المسلمين في سريلانكا.

H. E. Khalaf Bu Dhhair has assured President Yameen of the Kuwait Government’s continuous support and cooperation to the Maldives in all areas. The Kuwaiti Ambassador made this remark at a meeting held on 28/4/2016 at the President’s Office, following the Presentation of Credentials to H.E. President of the Republic of Maldives Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom. The Kuwaiti Ambassador also assured his commitment to strengthening the diplomatic relations between the Maldives and Kuwait, during his tenure. At the meeting, President Yameen congratulated the new Kuwaiti Ambassador on the assumption of his term and welcomed him to the Maldives. He noted that the Maldives and Kuwait has shared longstanding brotherly relations, and expressed his hopes to maintain the strong diplomatic bonds. Also participated in this meeting was Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Maldives Hon. Dunya Maumoon and the Third Secretary of the Embassy Mr. Bader Alforaih

. سعادة السفير يقدم أوراق إعتماده سفيرا محالاً لدولة الكويت لدى جمهورية المالديف

قدم سعادة السفير / خلف بوظهير أوراق إعتماده لفخامة الرئيس المالديفي عبدالله يمين سفيرا محالا لدولة الكويت لدى جمهورية المالديف في يوم الخميس الموافق 28/4/2016. وأكد سعادة السفير/ خلف بوظهير خلال مراسم تقديم أوراق الإعتماد على عمق العلاقات الثنائية بين البلدين معربًا عن تطلعه لتعزيز أواصر الصداقة وتحقيق المزيد من التعاون في كافة المجالات. كما أشاد الرئيس المالديفي بالدعم الذي قدمته دولة الكويت لجمهورية المالديف في مختلف المجالات ، وتمنى الرئيس المالديفي للسفير الجديد النجاح في مهمته. وحضر مراسم تقديم أوراق الإعتماد وزيرة خارجية جمهورية المالديف السيدة/ دنيا مأمون والسكرتير الثالث بالسفارة السيد/ بدر الفريح.
